A flexographic printing press designed for already made bags is the smart solution for printing small and medium runs of paper or plastic bags. The machine is available in 1 to 3 colors, making it suitable for various applications.
Applications
A flexographic printing press designed for already made bags is ideal for printing on various types of bags, including:
- Square bottom bags.
- Shopping bags.
- Pastry boxes.
- Pizza boxes.
Materials:
Suitable substrates include:
- Paper or plastic bags.
- Woven and non-woven bags.
- Thin corrugated board.
- Compact board.
Key Operational Features:
- Feeding
a) Manual: Bags are manually positioned in front of the locating indexes before being fed into the press.
b) Stream Feeder – Authomatic: The operator places bags into the automatic stream feeder, which holds up to 200 bags.
A set of suction pads then picks up each bag and places it onto a conveyor belt. Once in position, the front fingers retract, and the nip rollers pull the sheet into the machine. The stream feeder operates in sync with the machine's speed.
- Good Print Registration: the bags are transferred onto a conveyor belt that moves them between the printing units for precise color registration. This ensures that each print layer aligns correctly on the bag.
- Drying Process: After each printing pass, the bags are temporarily stacked on a sliding table or as optional into four rotating trays, allowing sufficient time for drying between color applications.
- Ink Types: The press is compatible with both water-based and alcohol-based inks, offering flexibility depending on the desired finish, substrate type, and environmental requirements.
